AUTOMATIC BALL DRIP VALVE

The Automatic Ball Drip Valve (or automatic drain valve) is a compact, passive safety device used in fire protection systems, such as sprinkler systems, standpipes, and fire department connections (FDCs). Installed at the lowest point in normally dry piping (e.g., between an FDC and its check valve), it automatically drains residual or leaked water to prevent freezing in cold climates, corrosion, or water accumulation that could impair system reliability.
