This Reducing Flexible Coupling is used in fire suppression systems, thus allowing water to flow and for easy installation. This two bolt design allows for a reliable joint that resists outside forces. This Coupling system is reliable and is faster to install than other methods such as, welding or threading. A Pad is included with the purchase of this product. It is constructed of rubber polymers with low compressions set properties. The Pad helps form an initial seal as it is stretched over the pipe ends and creates a leak proof seal. The housing helps insures this seal once installed.
